Going up to Utah for Spring Break was fabulously fun! Our Wonder family of 6 united forces with the awesome powers of their Wonder grandparents of 2. With  a total of 8 in 1 wonderul motor coach, 40ft. of fun!
12hrs of total relaxtion bliss.....NOT! The wonder kids behaved for the first few hours, but with their excitement bubbling over, it was not long before things got a little bit wild. So we mainly bribed them with food and board games.Wonder women in the back keeping World Peace! While the Wonder men navigated the vessel to safety! All in a days work for Super heroes!
We arrivved at our destination it was sure nice to see all the Super family, dogs included. I did fear for the dog who made so much racket, that he was bound to be takin care of by someone soon. It was a toss-up between James & Brittni!
We had several activities planned, enough for several weeks. We had to squeeze them into one. First all the super & wonder men went Sunday morning confrence. Wow! That was early for them, especially since Suer Kj accidently had them go 1 hour too early!
We had such a great time the whole wonderous week! We went to the Natural History Muesem, saw a 3D IMAX movie. The wonder kids loved it, great dig sites & a water area to build their own habitat. They also make the sets & film movies at this location. It is stop animation, very cool sets. We got to take a look at them in person. We ended buying 2 of their movies in the gift shop. Along with a pancake dinosaur mold, sticky hand, & 4 glass hand temp./thermometer.
Sweets candy factory was next on our list. We were able to tour all the differant ares of the factory & see how the made the 10 million tons of candy they make every year. Of course we got some yummy samples too! They make great salt water taffy! Salt water taffy doesn't actually have salt water in it. They told us that a long time ago a man had made his taffy & took it down to the sea to sell. It was left out in between the days & absorbed the salt from the air, hence its name came to be, Salt Water Taffy.
We ended leaving the factory with about 2olbs of pure sugar! Its okay Mom we won't eat it all at once, and we promise to share with others!
In the midst of all this great fun we were blessed with a few small snow storms! We were all really excited! Well at least the wonder family was.
One of my personal favorites was the Lehi Mill. They inspired me to try new muffin recipes, other than blueberry. Which happens to be a family favorite. We sure do like gingerbread muffins now too. Great sugar cookie mixes as well.
